It makes perfect sense. If you want to build for a solid tomorrow, you lay the foundation today.

Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative believes in that principal wholeheartedly, especially when it comes to our kids. We know that the youth in our area are the future leaders of our co-op and we want to equip them with the knowledge and resources to make a difference.

Four area eleventh-grade students can qualify for an all expense paid adventure to our nation’s capital in Washington, D.C., through the Cooperative’s Youth Tour program.  Students are invited to participate in an essay contest.  The Youth Tour program, sponsored annually by the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives, affords students the opportunity to learn about the history of our country while at the same time visiting many historical monuments and museums in the process.
