Right-of-way Department makes way for power
Dependable power requires a clear right-of-way. At Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative, we work hard to keep our rights-of-way clean and the power flowing strong for our members. Since the early 1980s, Northeast Electric has had its own right-of-way crews. Northeast Electric operates six right-of-way crews locally to take care of our own rights-of-way throughout Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Ottawa, and Rogers counties. Four local crews handle clearing tasks throughout the year, while one crew applies herbicide along the right-of-way on a seasonal basis. The sixth crew performs both types of right-of-way maintenance as needed.
